Free Government Boot Camps in Houston Tx

by Boot Camps on March 17, 2012

We recently received this via email from one of our readers in need.  Please respond in the comments if you can help this aunt of a very troubled teen to find a good, free or low-cost boot camp in Houston Tx.

My sister’s son is very disrespectful, is full of anger, bullies his siblings and classmates. I try to discipline him but he won’t listen to me or do what I say.  He is 16 years old and already he is addicted to drugs and runs with a local Houston gang.  I have tried everything I know to reach this kid but he is so far gone now, I am worried he will be either dead or in prison by the time he reaches 18.  Someone please help me.   Put me in touch with a free program for youth or a government boot camp near Houston.

I am now his guardian because his mother has recently gone to prison and his father has returned to drug abuse and is not fit

to raise any children, much less a troubled sixteen-year-old.  My husband and I have five children of our own and we don’t want this boy to influence them in any way.  They see his example and they imitate him already.  We cannot have our children growing up and thinking that his behavior is in any way, normal.

We are at poverty level but we love Our Lord and try to remain faithful to him.  I would like a program that will teach respect for elders, discipline, Christian morality and virtues, and self-confidence.

Like I requested above, please leave some feedback and ideas in the comments below so that we can help this concerned aunt get her nephew the help he needs to live a full life. Thanks for all of your help in advance.

You should check out an organization called, Youth Reach Houston. They offer free programs that are based on the Holy Scriptures and help teens to recover from drug and alcohol abuse, gang membership and other habitual sins.
