Naming and Running a Successful Fitness Boot Camp

by Boot Camps on February 1, 2012

Thinking of starting up a fitness boot camp? One of the first things you’re going to have to come up with is a name, and perhaps an entire tagline, which should reflect the type of training you offer. The success of your name or tagline isn’t going to depend on whether you like it or not, odd as it may seem. It hinges on how well it connects with your prospective clientele, what it does to meet their needs, and the problems they have that it appears to solve.

One of the ways to come up with a good name for your fitness boot camp is to determine who your target audience will be. For example, if you’re trying to attract stay-at-home moms, an appropriate name could be Superwoman Boot Camp. Maybe you prefer the business crowd. Examples of names that would attract businesspeople in your catchment area include Quick Fit Boot Camp, Fast Track Boot Camp and Fired Up Boot Camp. In short, the name of your camp should reflect the moods and tastes of the clientele you’re marketing to.

One benefit that’s often advertised by boot camps is the increased discipline of recruits. People want to be able to set priorities and juggle their time better, and boot camp teaches them the discipline which will, in turn, enable them to do just that.

Boot camps are a brilliant means for fitness professionals to earn money. When you run a fitness boot camp it becomes easier to earn more income per hour without having to do more work. Boot camps make it possible to train people with little or no equipment. You can run a successful boot camp even if you don’t have a gym or studio.

A surefire way to ensure that your boot camp’s name is easily recognized is to get plenty of word-of-mouth advertising. How do you accomplish that? By delivering a product so exceptional, people can’t stop talking about it. Make your workouts interesting and fun, and tailor them so that they deliver results. In this way, your boot camp’s name will become a household word, which is just the type of exposure you’re looking for.
